Limited Brands Inc's, La Senza lingerie brand chain, has been offered over $500,000 tax credit by the Ohio state government as the retail chain intends on adding several Central Ohio jobs.
On April 26, the Ohio State Tax Credit Authority agreed on a fifty percent, six-year job generation tax credit amounting to $567,217 for La Senza.
Since this brand is owned by Columbus-based Limited Brands Inc., the state officials in Columbus were thereby, informed that the brand is likely to add up to 80 jobs in Columbus with an expansion amount of almost $431,000.
As Limited makes its presence felt in Canada, an important part of which is the 256-stores La Senza chain, it announced, just a few days back, reshuffling of its executive duties. Currently, La Senza has about 400 employees working at its head office in Montreal, Canada.
As a part of La Senza's expansion plans, its creative and merchandising functions will be shifted to Columbus.
