Fast Retailing, the Japanese based company, which manages the Uniqlo casual clothing retail chain, will set up a joint-venture with Grameen Bank, a Bangladesh based micro-finance Company.
This joint-venture will be set up outside Japan, informed a spokesperson of Fast Retailing, but refused to divulge more details.
Managing Director of Grameen Bank, Muhammad Yunus and Tadashi Yanai, President, Fast Retailing, are expected to address a joint conference on Tuesday, where more details will be divulged.
