SATRA will launch a new Garment Technology course at their training facility in Northamptonshire later this year. The two day course designed by experts at the centre, will give delegates a broad knowledge of garments from development and production through to meeting performance requirements.
The course will include an understanding of:
• Fabric constructions and components within the garment. • Care labelling and aftercare. • Washing and dry-cleaning of textiles. • Textile testing and specifications. • Garment appraisal and fault analysis.
This will be a hands-on course and will suit retailers and their supply chain such as sourcing companies, designers, product developers and manufacturers.
Courses will be held on 11-12 October and 7-8 December 2010.
