Ike Behar is building its boys' wear business in a big way for Spring 2011 with the announcement of new licensing agreements and a presentation planned for ENK's upcoming Children's Club show at the Show Piers in New York City August 1 to 3.

Boys' wear in sizes 4 to 22 has been a growing category at Ike Behar. Building upon its license with the PVH Neckwear Group for boys' neckwear, Ike Behar will introduce two licensees to expand its boys' wear offerings.

Joining the PVH Neckwear Group as Ike Behar boys' wear licensees are Fishman & Tobin, which will manufacture and market Ike Behar boys' apparel, and Master Accessories, which will produce and market the brand's belts, small leather goods and gifts for boys.

"The Ike Behar customer is especially demanding of quality," said Ike Behar President Alan Behar. "A taste for quality is learned at an early age. Our brand reflects a discerning lifestyle and the boys' business will emulate our concern for excellence as we reintroduce boys' apparel and accessories to the Ike Behar brand. Collaborating with best-in-class childrenswear experts such as Fishman and Tobin, Master Accessories and PVH is crucial to bringing top-tier products to the market and we're thrilled with the offerings our partners are presenting for Spring 2011."

Stated Harold Master, President and CEO of Master Accessories, "Master Accessories is glad to be part of the Ike Behar Boys team. Our first collection under the Ike Behar label will be available for Spring 2011 and will reflect their quality, image and distribution. The collection will consist of dress belts, casual belts and suspenders with a modern look.
We look forward to a successful collaboration."

Jimmy Rosenfeld, President of Fishman & Tobin, said, "Partnering with the Ike Behar brand brings a new dimension to our company's offerings and fills a void in the marketplace for a better boys' wear label. Ike Behar, like Fishman and Tobin, is a heritage company known for its craftsmanship and we took inspiration from their men's line to create suits and suit separates for boys that will bring excitement to the market this coming spring."

"The PVH Neckwear Group is very pleased to continue partnering with Ike Behar to distribute Ike Behar Boys' Neckwear," said Larry Kniola, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, PVH Neckwear Group. "The boys' collection has all the elements that we put into our men's line - designs with multiple textures, unusual use of color, and a great value to our customers. The Spring 2011 Collection consists of stripes, paisleys, neats, grids, and solids offered in both four in hand ties and zipper ties for boys. The use of color is what separates Ike Behar menswear from the competition and the same goes for Ike Behar Boys' Neckwear."
