The ASBCI, Association of Suppliers to the British Clothing Industry, is delighted to announce that Chris Middleton, managing director of social media agency Eskimosoup and David Aykroyd, joint managing director of Aykroyd & Sons Ltd childrenswear licencing experts, will join the line-up of speakers at the one-day ASBCI Childrenswear Seminar on Thursday 16th September 2010 at Wicksteed Park in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
In his presentation entitled 'Using social media to get more business', Chris Middleton will explain how childrenswear fashion brands and retailers can tap into such social networking sites as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube to listen to what their customers are saying and build relationships of trust with their customer communities.
He will demonstrate how companies can generate helpful customer focused content that will win business, increase overall sales and reward loyal fans. David Aykroyd in his presentation 'Licence to sell' will explain how companies can make the most of image licencing opportunities on children's clothing.
Chris Middleton and David Aykroyd join eight other eminent speakers from sizing specialist Alvanon, Assyst Bullmer, De Montfort University, High Street Textile Testing Services, Kantar Worldpanel Fashion, Lectra, Marks & Spencer and SGS United Kingdon who will tackle some of the most pressing issues currently facing childrenswear designers, retailers and brands.
