Passing out NIFT masters students present scintillating projects

The objective of another project of Vivek Tripathi was to study and minimize the lead-time in pre-production process. He concluded that major delays were found in the pre-production process.

Nitin Deoghare's project was 'Re-engineering of Work Station in Sewing Department' in order to standardize the work method, work aids, work place design and re-engineering through work-study.

The admirable project presented by Vikas Shrivastav dwelt on 'Sewing Automation' in a shirt manufacturing unit. His objective was to automate specific operations with given resources and provide indigenous solution and design machinery on work aids.

The students were awarded three categories of awards for their projects, namely, Best Graduating Project, Most Commercially Viable Project and Most Innovative Project.

Vikas Shrivastav bagged two awards. 'Best Graduating' and 'Most Innovative' Project awards, while Paridhi Shah walked away with the 'Most Commercially Viable' project award.
