Intertextile Pavilion at the Shenzhen International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrcs and Accessories is confirmed to take place this summer from 7 – 9 July 2011. Last year's show successfully attracted more than 13,300 buyers from 36 countries and regions all sourcing from a great variety and quality of suppliers. This edition is expected to group some 250 suppliers who are hoping to meet with garment wear manufacturers producing in Southern China.
“Guangdong province represents 30% of China's textile exports and the Shenzhen pavilion is at the heart of this region, making it an important trade centre for us,” said Mr Joseph Chang, President for Unitex, a lace and embrodidery manufacturer from Taiwan. Adding: “The demands here are certainly increasing which is why we have decided to promote our high fashion fabrics as we are hoping that our company's stability and reliability will attract more buyers from Southern China.”
This year's fair will cover an exhibition space of 7,500 sqm with suppliers from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea and Taiwan who will present their latest fabric collections including cotton, functional, knitted, linen/ramie, man-made fibres, silk, wool as well as accessories. Many repeat as well as first time participating suppliers will join the 2011 trade fair. Among the new exhibitors are Indmoda Exports (P) Ltd and KTC Export Pvt Ltd from India, both showcasing their high quality lace, embroidery and silk collections and Royal Maye Chie Enterprises Inc from Taiwan presenting their embroidery fabrics, emblems and accessories.
Another important feature at the fair is the crossover of events including the China (Shenzhen) International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fai in halls 1 – 3 and the annual fashion show in hall 5, allowing buyers to maximise their sourcing time in Shenzhen.
Intertextile Pavilion is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and Shenzhen Asia-Pacific Fashion Exhibition Co Ltd.
