Pratibha Syntex’s sustainability goals for 2020 are reducing freshwater consumption by half, cutting energy use by a fifth, lessening greenhouse gases emission by 30 per cent, zero discharge of hazardous chemicals, 100 per cent use of sustainable materials and reducing hazardous waste by 40 per cent, according to chief executive officer Ashwani Palaha.
