3D-printed custom insoles maker RESA Wearables is debuting its manufacturing kiosks in 16 Costco Warehouse stores throughout the United States from October 20 to December 24. Customers can have their feet accurately scanned, insoles designed to their exact foot shape, and get a pair of medical-grade, custom insoles printed using 3D technology.

"Our 3D printed insoles help people suffering from foot discomfort by effectively adjusting pressure factors to conform to different parts of the feet," a RESA Wearables press release said quoting founder CEO Glen Hinshaw.

RESA Wearables has partnered with high-tech suppliers, including Milwaukee-based technology company CTS/Mighty Touch, a leader in branded kiosk design and construction, to bring its insoles to the market.

Off-the-shelf insole products do not sufficiently address most foot care needs and truly custom insoles have been primarily available through an inefficiently complicated, expensive and time-consuming process.

Founded in 2016, RESA has leveraged its highly-advanced technology to disrupt the traditional orthotics industry. (DS)
