However, this was higher than the £*.*** billion recorded in the first quarter of ****. Fabric imports amounted to £*.*** billion, while textile fibre imports were noted at £*** million in April–June ****. In the corresponding period of ****, fabric and textile fibre imports were £*.*** billion and £*** million, respectively.
