Indonesia’s ministry of industry has issued a notification to impose the technical specifications of various apparel. The ministry said it has taken such a step to protect the security, health and safety of consumers and protect the environment from the use of apparel, as well as create healthy business competition and increase the competitiveness of the apparel industry.
According to the notification obtained from *f_homepage_tpblock&utm_medium=logo&utm_campaign=texpro_****" target="_blank">Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro, the country has specified HS codes of various finished clothing which will come under the regulation for standardisation. A total *** finished clothes under various HS codes are covered under the provision. These apparel products are used for upper and lower wears for men and women, in addition to kids aged three years and above.
