Puma appoints Michael Bennett as sustainability head

Puma SE, a German sportswear and footwear company, has appointed the company's global director for trading services, Michael Bennett to head its sustainability department – Puma Safe with effect from January, 2016, according to a press statement released by the company.

Bennett has been associated with the company since January 2015. He has 25 years of experience in sales, product development and sourcing. Prior to joining Puma, he was working with Coach Leatherware. He has served in international companies like Decathlon and Tesco at senior roles.

He will be replacing Dr Reiner Hengstmann, who had been serving as the global director – Sustainability and Compliance at Puma Safe since 1999.

Hengstmann will leave the company for better opportunities. (MCJ)
