Bangladesh's RMG exports gain 10% to $26.7 bn in July-Feb FY25

Knitted garment exports marginally outpaced woven garment exports in growth. During the first eight months of the current fiscal, exports of knitwear (Chapter **) rose by **.** per cent to $**.*** billion, compared to $**.*** billion in the corresponding period of fiscal ****–**. On the other hand, woven apparel exports (Chapter **) increased by **.** per cent, totalling $**.*** billion, compared to $**.*** billion during the same period in the previous fiscal, according to EPB data.

Home textile exports (Chapter **, excluding ******) experienced growth, increasing by *.** per cent to $***.** million, compared to $***.** million during the same period in the previous fiscal. Collectively, exports of woven and knitted apparel, clothing accessories, and home textiles constituted **.** per cent of Bangladesh’s total exports, amounting to $**.*** billion for the period.
