Cambodia's apparel exports down 16.5% to $6,469 mn in Jan-Oct 2023

During the period under review, Cambodia’s exports of apparel and clothing accessories (knitted) (Chapter **) amounted to $*,***.*** million, a decrease of **.* per cent compared to $*,***.*** million in the corresponding period of ****. Likewise, exports of apparel and clothing accessories (not knitted) (Chapter **) fell by **.* per cent to $*,***.*** million, down from $*,***.*** million in January-October ****. This decline is attributed to reduced global demand.

In October ****, Cambodia’s apparel exports declined by *.** per cent to $***.*** million, compared to $***.*** million in the same month of ****. The shipment of apparel and clothing accessories (knitted) eased by *.* per cent to $***.*** million, down from $***.*** million during the corresponding month of the last year.
