Sri Lanka's garment exports up 12% to $827 mn in Jan-Feb 2025

During the first two months of ****, textile exports from Sri Lanka declined by *.* per cent, totalling $**.* million. Over the same period, exports of other manufactured textile articles fell by *.* per cent, amounting to $**.* million, as reported in the Central Bank&#**;s publication titled External Sector Performance – February ****.

Combined exports of textiles, garments, and other manufactured textile articles accounted for **.** per cent of all industrial exports from Sri Lanka during this period. Total textile product exports amounted to $***.* million in January–February ****, while Sri Lanka&#**;s overall industrial exports were valued at $*,***.* million for the same period.
