The software can be programmed to activate or de-activate SupplyLock based on the customer’s business rules that define each employee’s access to a particular drawer or items in that drawer. An employee’s access also can be restricted to a specific quantity of an item, whether it be a tool or hazmat materials. Each SupplyLock can manage up to 99 part numbers and has its own locking mechanism and LED light. A light-directed system unlocks the item for the employee to check out.

The employee’s department, cost center or other relevant information also can be entered into the system, so that managers can obtain real-time information about the use of the company’s supplies. A loan period can be defined for selected items. If the employee does not return a checked-out item before or on its due data, the system can send an email to the individual and/or supervisory personnel. SupplyLock also can be programmed to automatically lock down returned items.

Available in off-white color that blends easily with many color schemes, SupplyLock can be customized to a chain or cable lock. It can be mixed and matched with other SupplyPro devices and can retrofit Lista, Vidmar and Rousseau as well as a wide variety of other storage cabinets including stronghold door-style cabinets, classic style freezer and/or refrigerators and hazmat or sensitive materials cabinets.
