Carpet warehouses ablaze in northeastern Moscow

Carpet warehouses in northeastern Moscow are on fire, a source at city fire department informed.
The blaze has engulfed several warehouses and has spread its tentacles around almost 1,000 square meter area, the source said.
It is reported that, initially a hangar at Gostinichny Side Street caught fire around 8:20 pm local time, which quickly spread into another hangar.
The thick black smoke could be seen spreading around a radius of five kilometers.
Carpet owners are trying to rescue their merchandize, which is obstructing the effort of firemen to douse the fire.
