Pakistan's rug exports all through the first nine months of the year 2005-06 were placed at Rs 11.947 million against Rs 11.758 million last year.
Naeem Tahir Sheikh, carpet industry analyst, told that Pakistan's Chobi carpet is the most preferred worldwide.
Pakistan exported 3.475 million square meters of carpets for the period July 2005-March 2006, he added.
