Recently it was announced that the Iran Carpet Company will be privatized by March 2008.
Sources have revealed that even after the company is privatized the Ministry of Commerce will be in-charge of drafting policies and strategies.
The private board of executives, who will be required to follow the Ministry policies, will be responsible for smooth operation and administration.
Experts say that now that the Company will be privatized its development will gain speed and trade will be improved.
They said that restrictive laws and strict supervision of the Government has stifled not only the progress of this Company but also that of overall carpet industry.
