Insights

  • Borealis has expanded its strategic distribution partnership with Tegral Materials, a Vinmar company, to include Spain, Portugal, the UK, and Ireland from September 1.
  • Building on their earlier collaboration in Benelux, France, and Germany, the move enhances regional coverage for PE and PP packaging solutions, with plans to integrate Bornewables and Borcycle products.
Borealis is pleased to announce the expansion of its strategic distribution partnership with Tegral Materials, further reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-performance polyolefin packaging solutions across Europe.

Following the successful collaboration announced earlier this year - where Tegral Materials, a Vinmar company, was appointed as Borealis’ distribution partner for Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and Germany - this partnership will now extend to Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, effective September 1.

This development complements Borealis’ existing network of distribution channels, enhancing regional coverage and enabling more tailored service to customers in the Flexible and Rigid Consumer Packaging sectors. Through this expanded footprint, Tegral will offer Borealis’ polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) solutions, addressing growing demand for innovative and sustainable materials in these key markets.

This partnership is built on a shared commitment to innovation, reliability, and sustainability. In alignment with these values, Borealis and Tegral are actively exploring the integration of the Bornewables, as well as Borcycle C and Borcycle M, into Tegral’s product offering in the medium term. These product families reflect Borealis’ dedication to advancing circularity in plastics – levering renewable feedstocks alongside chemical and mechanical recycling technologies.

By leveraging Tegral’s regional expertise alongside Borealis’ established distribution infrastructure, both companies aim to provide enhanced value to customers and support the transition toward more sustainable packaging solutions.
