Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has executed a term Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) supply agreement with ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL).

Under the one-year agreement, BPCL will supply 42 million standard cubic meters (MMSCM) of RLNG to OPaL’s Dahej petrochemical unit, supporting stable gas sourcing for petrochemical operations.

The pact also opened discussions on longer-term RLNG collaboration, aligning with BPCL’s Gas Goodprint initiative and India’s cleaner energy transition, BPCL said in a LinkedIn post.

The agreement was signed by Rakesh Kumar Sinha, chief general manager, sourcing, logistics & marketing, Gas HQ and Vijay Iyah, head – material management, OPaL, in the presence of Rahul Tandon, business head (Gas) and Gurinder Singh, managing director OPaL, along with senior leadership from BPCL Gas HQ and OPaL.
