Grasim Industries Limited, flagship company of Aditya Birla Group and Lubrizol Advanced Materials have inaugurated a state-of-art Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) resin manufacturing facility’s Phase 1 annual production capacity of 50,000 metric tons at Grasim’s Chlor alkali complex in Vilayat, Gujarat, India.The project strengthens domestic manufacturing capability in CPVC resin, which is used in plumbing, water management, fire safety, and industrial piping applications. The facility is expected to support growing demand from infrastructure and building materials segments.
Grasim Industries and Lubrizol Advanced Materials have inaugurated phase 1 of a CPVC resin manufacturing facility at Vilayat, Gujarat, with an annual capacity of 50,000 metric tons.
The plant strengthens domestic CPVC production, supporting demand from plumbing, water management, fire safety and industrial piping sectors while enhancing India's chemical manufacturing capabilities.
