This milestone marks Indorama Corporation’s entry into the titanium dioxide industry.

Venator Spain is a major producer of titanium dioxide, operating a manufacturing facility in Huelva with a production capacity of 80,000 tonnes per annum. TiO2 is the world’s most widely used white pigment and is used in applications such as paints, coatings, plastics, paper, and packaging materials.

Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Amit Lohia, Vice Chairman of Indorama Corporation, said:
