UltraTech Cement successfully expands capacity by 1.2 MTPA

The expansion includes key developments at two major facilities:

• Hirmi, Chhattisgarh: The integrated production unit has achieved an incremental capacity of 0.8 MTPA.
• Roorkee, Uttarakhand: The grinding facility has successfully increased its production by 0.4 MTPA.

With these advancements, total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity now stands at 178.86 MTPA. Additionally, the company’s overseas capacity contributes another 5.4 MTPA, bringing the global cement production capacity to a remarkable 184.26 MTPA.

These strategic expansions are supported by the efficient use of key raw materials in cement production, including limestone, clay, silicates, iron oxide, gypsum, bauxite, and fly ash, ensuring enhanced production efficiency and high-quality output.

These strategic expansions reflect UltraTech Cement’s commitment to fulfilling increasing market demand, reinforcing its competitive position, and driving continued operational excellence.
