Madonna's conical bra goes under the hammer

Madonna’s legendary conical brassiere, worn during her 1990 Blonde Ambition tour, went under the hammer for a whopping sum of UK£ 32,450, at the Pop Culture auction at Christie’s in London.
 
The iconic piece of clothing, designed by the world’s renowned French haute couture designer Jean Paul Gaultier, features a green and white striped corset with sharp pointed cups embellished with sequins, beads, fringe and embroidery.
 
Another similar two-piece stage costume comprising of a black satin bustier with conical cups, worn again by the Queen of Pop, fetched an amount of £ 16,250 at the same event.
 
The Pop Culture event also auctioned a shirt belonging to the Beatles’ singer John Lennon for a sum of £ 11, 250 and a white jumpsuit worn by Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones band for £ 20, 000.
