According to December 2005 data, the EMU convergence criterion for inflation was 2.5 percent, which means that Slovenia managed to meet it.
Higher prices of food and petroleum products pushed the inflation rate up by 0.3 percentage point each and other price rises by 0.1 point.
The annual growth of prices slightly up again; this time was 2.4 percent, while the 12-month average price growth has not changed; it is still 2.5 percent.
Prices in the groups clothing and footwear, health and communication were lower than a year ago.
