The two-piece burqini made of lycra fibre a cover-all swimming costume for Muslim women is popular in the Middle East.

After making itself indispensable for the muslim women in New Zealand, Burkini is now entering into the Australian beaches.

The full-length lycra suit with hijab head-covering is not too figure hugging but is tight enough to swim freely.

It will soon be manufactured in the iconic red and yellow of Australia's surf life saving movement.

Aheda Zanetti, the Australian burqini manufacturer hopes to enlarge this garment's appeal further than Muslim women at the beach.

Burkini is not just a modest swimming suit, it can also be used as a protection against the sun, surf and sand.
