Maroon is a symbol for healing, gold stands for richness and royalty, black represents maturity whereas purple is for rituals and preferred by women folk.

Yellow represents sanctity and fertility, red stands for sacrifice and spirituality while green symbolizes health, vitality and growth. Rich African heritage is reflected in the seven colors.
