Turkey's performance in production of fashionable ready-to-wear clothing has attracted attention of global fashion players.
Turkey had sufficient resources to achieve high-quality production infrastructure for textiles but further improvements and developments in this sector has attracted world's attention.
The country is now in close contact with giant players of textile sector in France, Italy, and Portugal. Textile and clothing manufacturers are receiving orders from major fashion centers such as England, Spain and Italy.
According to Istanbul Textile and Manufactured Clothing Exporters Union (ITKIB) President Süleyman Orakçioglu, country has achieved these developments with their long-term strategy and efforts and thus makes Istanbul a fashion center.
