In the first quarter of 2007, Yangzhou city exported US $1.91 worth of fur clothing and accessories, representing year-on-year surge of 345 percent.
This growth is the result of years of hard work and development of the industry combined with strong demand in international furs market.
Number of export markets has increased to 30s, and the quantity of products has also expanded rapidly.
Meanwhile, to ensure safety, health and environmental protection of furs products exported to other countries, the local government is keeping close check on the manufacturers.
