In order to help the police force beat extreme cold conditions while on duty in winter, Zhejiang Yong Dun Dress Industrial Co Ltd has recently designed an innovative high-tech uniform.
The technique for the special uniform, which was developed by Beijing China Police Safe Technique Development Center, is based on the Chinese medicinal theory.
Accordingly, the electric vest was designed keeping in mind the principle structure of the human body. It is made of specially activated carbon fiber which releases infrared rays and lithium cells that keeps the wearer warm even when temperatures fall to minus 20 degree C.
The uniform, which is rechargeable, keeps the body warm for six hours at a stretch and looks like any other regular vest.
Sources said that Zhejiang Yong Dun, which was established in 1989, will produce the first batch of the special high-tech uniform for the police force and send it to Beijing soon.
