Markets for Plus-size clothing are rapidly increasing in countries like Europe, America, and India and China is certainly no exception.

Of late, sales of average sized garments have shown a stark decline in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Wuhan. Demand for over-size clothing on the other hand, is on the rise indicating towards a brighter prospective for expanding markets in China.

Experts commenting on research reports stated that increase in obesity coupled with continued influx of over-weighing foreigners living in China have broadened the spectrum of plus-sized garment collection in the country.

This apart, shops selling plus-size clothing will have an added advantage as they need not look for expensive commercial markets to sell their products. Besides, since the concept of extra-large garments is still in its nascent form, Chinese dealers will not have to face stiff competition to survive in the market.
