Rising Re - Not the only problem in textile industry

China is far ahead in this field. The Asian export giant has inundated all the global markets with its fabrics, apparels and garments. Their units are equipped with modern plant and machinery, which have access to quality raw materials at every stage in the process.
The government has given incentives to the tune of nearly Rs5200 crores to the badly hit textile industry. However, more needs to be done. Now, experts are demanding special incentive packages to set up new and modern capacities in weaving and processing.
