The Brewers is going to introduce unveil new Sunday home uniforms during a live broadcast event at Miller Park next week.

Dubbed the "Winter Warmup," the hour-long show is scheduled for December 1 at the ballpark's .300 Club. It will be broadcast live on FOX Sports North at 7 p.m. CT with Daron Sutton and Bill Schroeder, and Jim Powell will have the call on the Brewers Radio Network at 6 p.m.

Participants include Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Uecker, manager Ned Yost, new coaches Robin Yount and Dale Sveum, plus players Bill Hall, Damian Miller, Lyle Overbay, Derrick Turnbow and Matt Wise. General manager Doug Melvin and assistant GM Gord Ash will also be on hand.

Yount, Sveum and fellow Brewers alumni Jerry Augustine, Jim Gantner, Larry Hisle and Gorman Thomas will be familiar with the new alternate uniforms. The Brewers are expected to feature their popular "ball and glove" logo, which was featured from 1978-1993 and "witnessed" some of the best seasons in franchise history.

Owner Mark Attanasio stated that they are trying to marry the old with the new at the end of the regular season, while the Brewers were still in the process of designing the new look.

The logo remains popular on caps and T-shirts, and in 2005 the club engineered a unique focus group at Miller Park, letting fans choose a free T-shirt with either the current logo or the "ball and glove." Old school beat new school in a landslide.

The event will also mark the beginning of the team's season ticket campaign, and sales staff will man the phones during the broadcast. Select incoming calls will be fielded by Brewers alumni and others participating in the evening's activities.

Three hundred invited guests are expected to be in attendance at the event and will be invited to ask questions during the evening's panel sessions. Because of limited space in the .300 Club, the event is not open to the public.
