As T-shirts comprise 30 per cent of the total knitwear sold in India and, as a category, is growing at 18 per cent per annum, besides innerwear, these would be the largest performer and a key driver in the knitwear segment in India, according to Nischal Puri, managing director of Artimas Fashions Private Limited (AFPL), a subsidiary of Lux Industries.

Kolkata-based AFPL has exclusive license for One8 innerwear and loungewear and owns Actimaxx, an activewear brand.

The best-selling product category in One8 innerwear is the vest and for Actimaxx, it is the T-shirt, Puri told Fibre2Fashion in an interview. (DS)
