President asks to speed up cotton harvesting

Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has asked the heads of the country's various provinces to speed up the harvest of cotton.

The President expressed his dissatisfaction over the current pace and progress in cotton harvesting across the provinces.

He urged the regional heads to put all available technical resources to the best use to finish the harvesting work within the set time and with good results.

He said that the current period is the most important for cotton harvesting and ordered Turkmenpagta state concern and the Obahyzmat association to increase the pace of their joint work in the fields to quicken cotton harvesting in the country.
