Cotton volumes at Chinese state reserves continue to rise

Against a plan to purchase 122,200 tons of cotton on December 12, the China Cotton Reserves Corporation actually transacted 64,250 tons. The trading volume increased 21,950 tons over the previous day.

Of which, out of a plan to procure 57,000 tons in Xinjiang, the Corporation actually bought 40,760 tons and against 65,200 tons in Inland, actual turnover came to 23,490 tons.

As of December 12, the Corporation has totally purchased 1.43 million tons for the state cotton reserves of which, 982,440 tons and 450,720 tons is from Xinjiang and Inland, respectively.
