Cotton output in Syria recorded 4300kg/hectare this season compared to 4288 kg/hectare last year, Mohamed Nayef al-Salti, Head of Cotton Researches Directory informed the media.
Mohamed Nayef al-Salti, at the General Board of Agriculture Scientific Researches, said that there were some areas where cotton productivity reaches at 6 tons/hectare with the average production exceeded in the last five years 4 tones/hectare.
