Taiwanese cotton imports dip in Jan

In the first month of 2012, Taiwanese imports of cotton dipped 41.2 percent to 17,600 tons from a year ago.

Although non-US cotton prices were generally lower in the month, prices of US cotton reached 128 cents / lb, rising for the third consecutive month to nearly a five-month high.
