A few cotton importers based in Qingdao, Shanghai and Zhangjiagang have reduced their prices of imported cotton in recent days.
Most of this cotton has been imported from India, Burkina Faso and the US. The price reduction is in between 200 to 300 Yuan / ton.
There is no particular reason attributed to reducing prices by these exporters.
