Guinea produces cotton after four-year gap

The West African country of Guinea has begun producing cotton after a gap of nearly four years, the country’s Finance Ministry said.
 
Guinea produced about 730 tons of cotton in 2008, but the country stopped producing cotton after that year.
 
This year, Guinea produced 365 tons of cotton during May-June, according to the Ministry.
