Spanish variety in sync with Chinese cotton spinners

Its a rare compliment from China for grower of cotton in far away Spain.
An appreciation which saw Spanish cotton demand rise during 2005-06 seasons as Chinese spinners continued to purchase high quality Spanish crop.
Reporting the sale of large quantity early in the season, October exports were 24,781 bales, a 63.4 percent year-on-year rise from the previous year.
Needless to say, main export destination for Spanish cotton was China, which consumed 16,667 bales.
During August-October period, exports volume was up 25.2 percent at 70,007 bales, and this time again, China topped the export destination with 31,202 bales.
