China's November cotton imports rise m-o-m

China continues to import cotton unabatedly and its November imports registered 303,600 tons, growing by 11.6 percent over its October imports of 272,000 tons. However the figure showed a decline of 19.7 percent year-on-year, according to customs statistics.
 
From January to November this year, China imported a total of 4.602 million tons of cotton, showing a rise of 2.03 million tons or 78.9 percent year-on-year.
 
During the first three months of the current cotton season, i.e. from September to November 2012, Chinese cotton imports amounted to 838,600 tons, down 44,600 tons or 5.05 percent year-on-year.
