In this meeting they discussed the changing trends of cotton in the world market.
The speaker informed about global demand and supply of raw cotton, price stance and performance of Bangladesh after post-quota regime.
Guest speaker Ed Jernigan, Chairman and CEO of Globecot, USA, highlighted that Bangladesh is second largest supplier of cotton apparel to the US in terms of volume and the fifth largest in value terms.
