Cotton imports reached 500,000 tons in March; the figure has surpassed all the previous imports in the country.

According to an agreement with American Cotton Dealers, China will import around 300,000 tons of cotton with expected value of $300 million.

China has emerged as one of the biggest cotton importers as export volume of textile & clothing is quickly rising in recent years.
