Three released from five this year, Arkot 9513, Arkot 9304a and Arkot 9314 are in testing or are being transformed into commercial cotton varieties.

Bourland pays attention to developing genetic qualities which include the ability to adapt to local growing conditions, insect resistance and stability in total yield and also like amount of lint and fiber quality.
