Cotton yarn import keeps going

The demand for cotton yarn import in South Korea has kept up. Cotton yarn import increased to 17, 402 tons, a 30% surge compared to the same period previous year.

On the other hand, export of cotton yarn slide by 24.5% to 1, 554 tons. The exports, year-to-date is down 30.3% at 17, 060 tons. The import of cotton-blend yarn has increased by 56.3% at 1, 476 tons in September.
