Huge stocks of cotton were poured in APMC yard at Haveri, as district registered good production of crop this kharif season assisted by fair amount of monsoon.
This time due to ample amount of rain, cotton crop varieties like Bt, Laxmi and Jayadahar have arrived at huge numbers.
Cotton bales are also coming from districts like Gadag, Chitradurga, Shimoga, Dharwad, Davangeri. This time 15,000 cotton bales were brought in on a single day, breaking earlier record of about 10,000.
