SWAK reports deep plunge in cotton fabric output

Spinners & Weavers Association of Korea (SWAK) reported a sharp drop in cotton fabric production in 2006.
During the January-November 2006 period cotton fabric output recorded year-on-year fall of almost 51.5 percent to reach 32.7 million square metres.
In November alone the output declined 54.5 percent from the same period in 2005 to touch the mar of 1.76 million square metres.
