Wet weather ruins Queensland cotton

Queensland, one of the major cotton producing regions in the country, was severely affected by rain, which has damaged the plantations.

The wet condition has aggravated the boll infection, further adding to the crop damage.

Experts believe that the yield will come up to around three bales a acre, down from initial four bales.
